For 3 days in a row Oak Island Fishing Charters has put a hurting on the King Mackerel. Fishing does not get any better than it is right now. If you find the weather is right (light winds) then we will beat the socks of a king mackerel. Dont hang up your fishing plans yet cause it will be strong till after the 1st of the year.

Oak Island Fishing Charters King Mackerel Fishing
Oak Island Fishing Charters crew caught king mackerel all day today. When I say all day I mean we did not go no more than 5 minutes without a fish. We ended up just shy of 1000lbs in 6 hours and was back before dark. This is the time of year to smoke the fish. http://youtu.be/WmncAhOu9aY for video.

Oak Island Fishing Charters Weekend Update
This weekend Oak Island Fishing Charters took the Cat Boat out for a test run to make sure everything is in good working order (everything is great) . The king mackerel are finally in full swing and the wahoo bite offshore is picking up. The trout also gave us some action on Sunday. Looks like another week of wind.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Red Drum Backwater Fishing
This morning Oak Island Fishing Charters went Trout fishing but the Big Red Drum made up for the slow action on the Trout. The colder it gets the better the Trout fishing should get also.
Oak Island Fishing Charters King Mackerel Fishing
The King Mackerel were biting all day for Oak Island Fishing Charters. We even had a nice Mahi and got to see a big Sailfish attack our short bait. Fall king fishing is a little late but its good when the weather lets us get out.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Inshore Mixed Bag
Oak Island Fishing Charters had a mixed bag of Trout, Red Drum and Black Drum today. With the wind blowing hard and the temp. a little cooler we had several keepers and a few throw back. All in all a great day and cant wait till the group comes back next year.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Backwater Red Drum
Today the group with Oak Island Fishing Charters went Trout and Drum fishing. First thing we caught a Trout but it was to small and then it seemed like we rode around all morning looking for some fish that wanted to give us a fight. Finally the last stop was one bite after another on Red Drum. The Trout bite has been good all week so I have no reason why we did not catch them. I can give you excuses but the fact is we just did not catch them. Great day with great people, what more could you ask for.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Big King Mackerels
Oak Island Fishing Charters got into a great bite of Big King Mackerel today (to bad there was no tournaments around). The avg fish was over 20lbs so it looks like the little one have moved out. We will be trout and drum fishing the rest of the week.
Oak Island Fishing Charters Finally Fall Catching
Oak Island Fishing Charters hung up the idea if the King Mackerel are ever going to show up on the beach and took the group backwater fishing. Final count 10 Trout, 3 Red Drum and 1 flounder. Its about time to go wear the wahoo out so after this week big change of plans.
